Transformations

Real homes, real people, real peace of mind.

Behind every photo is a story. A family that found breathing room. A person who finally cleared the space to focus. A home that became a sanctuary again.

Here are a few of the transformations I’ve been trusted to be part of.

The Family Kitchen Conundrum

Before
This kitchen was being used every day by a busy family but without any clear systems. Cupboards were overstuffed, categories blurred, and finding what they needed took time they didn’t have. Prep space was limited, everyday items were stored out of reach, and key areas like the pantry and under the sink felt chaotic.

They didn’t need more cupboards. They needed a kitchen that worked for real family life.

The Process

I used my Categorise, Edit, Organise Method in this kitchen. Laying out items in their groups made decisions easy.

I then cleaned the kitchen, creating a blank canvas to work with.

From there, I created clear zones for cooking, kids, baking, and everyday use.

Everything was planned for flow, accessibility, and efficiency — so the kitchen works effortlessly for busy days and real family life.

A variety of kitchenware, including plates, bowls, pots, pans, and utensils, is spread out on a large fabric covering the floor inside a room with a glass door leading to an outdoor patio.

The Calm Kitchen

After
The kitchen became calm, functional, and easy to use. Every cupboard and drawer now has a clear purpose, with frequently used items close to hand and less-used items stored out of the way.

Countertops were cleared, storage was maximised, and the space finally flows… making cooking, cleaning, and everyday life simpler for the whole family.

A modern kitchen with gray cabinets, a wooden countertop, a stainless steel range hood, and white subway tile backsplash. Decor includes black-framed art on the wall, various kitchen appliances and utensils on the counter, and a ceiling light with a warm glow.
Shamefully, we had never properly organised our kitchen after moving in 5 years ago and after having two children. It was a state!

Sophie worked like an absolute machine for a day and half to completely revamp our kitchen.

The solutions she has come up with have made busy family life so much easier and more efficient.

Even after a busy Christmas hosting multiple times, the systems she put in place remain organised!

The Playroom Problem

Before
Emily has three children and a large conservatory playroom that was meant to be a fun, flexible space for family life and play.

Instead, the room was overflowing with outdated toys, full storage, and surfaces acting as dumping grounds… making it hard for the children to use the space properly.

The playroom felt overwhelming. And the amount of toys made it difficult to adapt the space as the family’s needs changed.

The Process

We decluttered using my Left to Right Method. We started at the left-hand corner of the room and worked our way round, which avoided overwhelm.

The layout of the room was then reworked to maximise space. Clear labels and zones made it easy for both children and adults to use.

Every decision was intentional…creating simple systems, a dedicated activity area, and an organised playroom that finally made sense.

The Peaceful Playroom

After
The playroom became calm, organised, and easy to use.

Toys had clear homes. Creativity had space to grow.

And at the end of the day, tidying was quicker, safer, and far less stressful for everyone.

A wooden bookshelf filled with children's books, with some books stored upright and others stacked horizontally. There is a green basket on top containing various stationery items, placed next to a window with a brick wall outside.
A pink and white toy kitchen set with various toy cooking items and utensils, placed on a tiled floor against a brick wall.
A cozy sunroom with a brick half-wall, large windowpanes, and a beige armchair with a striped pillow. On a wooden cabinet next to the armchair, there is a large decorative dollhouse with pastel colors and heart-shaped cutouts, and a smaller dollhouse with a red roof. The room has tiled flooring and some holiday decorations.
Sophie was so professional in the way she asked personal questions at the start to find out priorities for the room.

She was very methodical, logical and sensitive when we did the big declutter.

Her vision for the playroom and the way she organised it was very considerate of the ages of the children, and the way they play.
